Farang was reviewed by the Sunday Xpress, who said 'Corness warrants high praise for sticking to the high road in "Farang".' The review goes on to say that the book '...dodges most of the potholes that cripple most foreigners books about Thailand, .... the ones that are unavoidable are negotiated with the even temper of an old hand.'
