The campaign to have the Irish soldiers who fought at the Siege of Jadotville is gaining significant momentum. Why is Maverick House taking an interest. The campaign to honour the men of ACompany was inspired by the publication of Declan Power’s book Siege at Jadotville. The author has played a central role in documenting the heroism of the soldiers who held their position at Jadotville against overwhelming odds. Declan’s book was also the inspiration behind the acclaimed Netflix film Siege at Jadotville.
